Updated October 2026 · By DJ Alphire, Oakland CA
If you are searching for a wedding DJ in Northern California, the practical question is who can run your whole night, ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner and dance floor, in the room you actually booked. DJ Alphire is a mobile DJ and MC based in Oakland who brings a fully self-contained sound rig, dance-floor lighting and a backup mixer to every wedding, so the venue does not need to supply a PA.
Bay Area guest lists are rarely one culture. DJ Alphire is a bilingual English/Spanish MC with Farsi MC hosting available, and his sets move between cumbia, funk, hyphy, Afrobeats, Persian pop and Top 40. That range is the point: one DJ who can host two or three languages and keep every generation on the floor.
Every wedding is custom quoted from $1,495. That base includes premium sound and an MC microphone, dance-floor lighting, professional MC hosting, a planning consultation, a custom playlist with a do-not-play list, and backup equipment on-site. Uplighting, a monogram, dancing on clouds, a photo booth, ceremony sound and extra hours are quoted separately.
